Auxiliary nurse midwife, commonly known as ANM. It is a village-level female health worker in India who is known as the first contact person between the community and the health services. ANMs are regarded as the grass-roots workers in the health organisation pyramid. Their services are considered important to provide safe and effective care to village communities. The role may help communities achieve the targets of national health programmes.

1. About this Course :-

It is a medical nursing training course. During this course, students are given training in nursing related to medicine, in which way they have to take care of patients and how to help them while being treated by the doctor. ANM Nursing Training Course is a diploma course of Nursing field. Girls and women mostly do this course. After doing ANM Nursing Training Course, more jobs are available in the health sector, in which vaccination work is to take care of the patients and all those who come in the course of treatment. Training is given on how the devices are used.

2. Possibility of job :-

After doing ANM Nursing Training Course, you undoubtedly have to find jobs in Government Hospitals, State Hospitals, Community Health Centres, Railway, Coal India, Electricity Board etc. in hospitals or other industrial institutes. In Government or Private Health Department. If you want, you can also get a job in Foreign countries.

3. Course Duration :-

The Duration of ANM Nursing training course is 2 years.

4. Education Qualification :-

To do ANM Nursing training course you must have passed at least 12th (10+2) with any Subject.

5. Educational Age :-

The minimum age limit for admission to ANM nursing training course should be 17 years and maximum age limit should be 35 years.

6. Session :-

The ANM nursing training course starts from 1 October every year till 30 September.
